Our ministry's guiding scripture, permanently anchored at the very top of our church gates and digital platforms, is Galatians 6:2: "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

Kampala is a bustling, beautiful, yet highly complex international city. It is a haven for thousands of individuals seeking safety, new beginnings, and a place to call home. Within the walls of Kisima Bethsaida Ministries, you will find a rich tapestry of cultures — believers from Uganda, Congo, Rwanda, and beyond — worshipping as one body.

We quickly realized that true spiritual revival cannot be separated from practical communal love. 

The Law of Christ in Action

What is the "law of Christ"? It is Love in motion. When a refugee arrives in our midst, traumatized and lacking basic necessities, we do not merely offer a quick prayer and send them away. Led by our pastoral team, the church steps in to offer material, educational, and emotional support.

When widows and orphans in Makindye face hardships, our community acts as an extended family. We have come to understand that when you lift someone else's burden, God miraculously lightens your own.

How You Can Practice Burden-Bearing This Week:

1. Active Listening: Sometimes, a lonely soul doesn’t need money; they simply need a safe space to share their story without judgment.
2. Sacrificial Giving: Look around your neighborhood or church rows. If you see a lack that you have the power to fill, do it immediately.
3. Intercessory Standing: Pray for others with the same intensity that you use to pray for your own children and future.

By standing together, we show the world that the Church is not an institution—it is a living, breathing hospital of hope.
